The legal problems of early repayment of consumer credits in the Republic of Armenia

The consumer credit is widespread in Armenia. The early repayment of the credit is one of the most important rights of consumers. Though our legislation has given the right of early repayment to consumers but there are many issues that remain unclear which gives the banks the opportunity to construe the law arbitrarily. The author discusses how should the creditor replace the early repayed money, how to reduce the certain types of payments which are included in the total cost of the credit and what gaps have the legislation of Armenia in this sphere.
